Be Your Best Program
Be Your Best Bully Prevention Program The series of lessons, adapted from the New Jersey State Bar Foundation, will be introduced and taught by the classroom teacher to promote positive attitudes in students. It will also provide the application of skills as they progress from kindergarten to fifth. The class guidance lessons will implement the skills within the 5 to 6 lessons once they are taught by the class teacher. All of the strategies taught are part of the character education program, TRACK, which is part of the language used within the school. It is our goal to instill in the children a sense of responsibility and empowerment in handling bullying behavior. The lessons will provide the students with the lifeskills they need to be successful in their school environment. Lesson 1: What is teasing & bullying?
