Student Communication

Who can my child speak when they have concerns?

Students at ACS are encouraged to openly communicate any issues or concern they may have, including possible bullying.  Teachers are always the first line of communication as they know their students best.  If an incident occurs at lunch time, students should immediately inform the lunch aide responsible for their class, who will in turn speak with the teacher.  Teachers will then relay information to administrators and / or school counselor, as appropriate.

We are a community here at ACS and we all have the safety and well-being of every child as our top priority.  Thus, students should always be encouraged to speak to ANY ADULT on staff with whom they feel comfortable and who they feel they can trust.
