On the app, enter your email or cell phone number. The email and/or cell phone number should match what is in the school's information system (Genesis).

On the web, click ‘Sign In’, then under ‘Register’ section, put your email or phone number and click '“Go”.

If the email or phone number is not recognized by ParentSquare, parents can follow directions to request access or call the school office and ask them to update the contact information.

If you are both a parent and staff member, you can toggle between accounts.

ParentSquare allows users to customize their notifications based on notification type and select their preferred delivery method for each school.

• Instant: The Instant setting will send all post notifications in real-time.
• Digest: The Digest setting sends direct messages, alerts, and time-sensitive posts instantly, but sends all non-time sensitive posts at the end of the day, reducing the number of notifications you receive daily. (We recommend the Digest setting).

ParentSquare accounts will automatically default to the home language listed in Genesis. Parents can update their language preference for their account. Once they have done this, ParentSquare will automatically translate any communication to them in their selected language. This translation will also occur when the parent sends a message.

Change your language on a web browser:

1. From Home, click your name at the top-right and select My Account.

2. On the left, select Language Settings.

3. Click the drop-down menu and select your language and click Save.

Change your language from the phone app:

1. From Home, tap the Menu (triple bars) on the top-left.

2. Select Account.

3. Select Preferences.

4. Select Language.

5. Scroll through the list and tap on your language.

ParentSquare has accounts for caregivers marked as the guardians in the Genesis Parent Portal. Please check with your student’s school to verify how the parent is listed in Genesis.

1. Go to parentsquare.com and on the login page click “Forgot Password.”

2. Put in your email or phone number and you will be sent a link to reset your password.

Yes. All parents have a ParentSquare account. ParentSquare is the primary tool for district and school communication. Individuals who do not activate their account in ParentSquare will still receive an email digest at the end of each day that communication is sent out to them. In the event of emergencies, phone calls will be sent as well.

Periodically, the district will send activation reminders to parents who have not activated their ParentSquare accounts. Activation is optional.

1. Open the invitation email or text. Click Activate your account or tap the link to activate your account.

2. Create a Password for your ParentSquare account and click Register.

3. Click Confirm for your phone number and/or email. A verification code will be sent to the email or phone number.

4. Enter the verification code to confirm.

5. Select "Yes, This is Me" when you have confirmed your contact information and child(ren) associated with your account.

For emails:

• Check your spam folder to see if any ParentSquare messages ended up there, and mark them as “Not Spam.” 

• Add donotreply@parentsquare.com to your email contacts so your server recognizes our messages. 

• If you still are not receiving emails, please submit a tech ticket.

For text messages:

You may have accidentally blocked text messages from ParentSquare from your phone.

• Text “START” to 66458 to re-enable your text messages.

• If the problem continues, submit a tech ticket for assistance.

To update your email address or phone number, parents/guardians should log into Genesis Parent Portal or call the main office of your child's school. You cannot update your contact information directly in ParentSquare.

Click “Unsubscribe”  link on your email from ParentSquare or reply STOP to the SMS from ParentSquare to stop notifications to your email or phone. **Note: After the conclusion of each school year, accounts that are no longer active in Genesis will be archieved and will no longer receive ParentSquare notifications.
