This roadmap was thoughtfully designed to bring our district's strategic vision to life in a clear, accessible, and engaging format. It serves as a living resource that allows our community to follow along with the priorities, progress, and initiatives shaping the future of Leonia Public Schools. Goal 1: Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology for Learning

We’re building a curriculum for the future by launching the “Profile of a Leonia Lion,” focusing on the essential skills every student needs to thrive. Through a new public-facing platform and a district-wide technology framework, we are ensuring our learning is transparent, innovative, and built to prepare every graduate to lead.

We are elevating the Leonia experience by expanding inclusion initiatives, deepening our partnership with Edgewater, and streamlining communication through family-friendly tools. By attracting and retaining top-tier educators with enhanced mentorship and recognition, we are ensuring a vibrant, world-class environment for every student and staff member.

We are putting health and mental wellness at the center of the Leonia experience by integrating mindfulness into our daily routines and launching modernized schedules with built-in FLEX time. From the creation of Wellness Centers at every school to student-led advisory groups, we are building a supportive environment where every student and staff member can truly thrive.

We are creating a world-class environment that fuels student passion through expanded STEM, arts, and career electives. By launching new global learning opportunities and leveraging tools like ParentSquare, we are ensuring every student finds their spark in a district that is as innovative as it is connected.
