Inclement Weather School Schedules

 

In the event of a school closing, delayed opening, or emergency announcement, Leonia Public Schools will share information through multiple channels to keep families informed:

  • Voice Call through Parent Square to phone numbers listed in the Genesis Parent Portal

  • Email through Parent Square to the main email address listed in the Genesis Parent Portal

  • Live Feed updates on the district website

  • Notifications through our Parent Square App

Below you will find each school’s delayed opening and early dismissal schedules. More information will be shared from your building’s administration.

 

 

 

  • Anna C. Scott Elementary School

    Delayed Opening

    • Teachers report by 10:00 AM.
    • Students arrive beginning at 10:30 AM.
    • Student supervision begins promptly at 10:30 AM. Students should not be dropped off before 10:30 AM.
    • Lunch is Served.
    • Regular dismissal time.
    • SACC will communicate with parents directly.

     

    Early Dismissal

    • Student dismissal is at 12:50 PM.
    • Teachers leave following student dismissal.
    • Snack will occur during the school day but lunch is not served.
    • SACC will communicate with parents directly.

  • Leonia Middle School

    Delayed Opening

    • Teachers report by 10:00 AM.
    • Students arrive beginning at 10:17 AM.
    • Student supervision begins promptly at 10:17 AM. Students should not be dropped off before 10:17 AM.
    • First Bus Pickup in Edgewater is at 9:15 AM.
    • Lunch is served.
    • Regular dismissal time.
    • SACC will communicate with parents directly.

     

    Early Dismissal

    • Student dismissal at 12:51 PM.
    • Teachers leave following student dismissal.
    • Lunch is served.
    • SACC will communicate with parents directly.

  • Leonia High School

    Delayed Opening

    • Teachers report by 9:45 AM.
    • Students arrive beginning at 9:45 AM.
    • Zero Period is canceled.
    • First Bus Pickup in Edgewater is at 8:55 AM.
    • Lunch is served.
    • Dismissal is at 2:54 PM.

     

    Early dismissal

    • Classes End/Student dismissal at 11:44 AM.
    • Teachers leave following student dismissal.
    • Grab & Go lunch is served from 11:44 AM - 12:20 PM
